How best to describe the show? Well, it's a radio show for starters, currently airing on The Sound of Spitfire at 19:00 (BST) every Saturday evening, and repeated at 12:00 on Tuesdays.

I'd like to think the mix of music eclectic and wide ranging. Rock, pop, indie, punk, jazz. Anything from Bowie, The Smiths and Joy Division to King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, by way of Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis and Mel Torme.

Since my generosity knows no bounds, I fork out literally nothing each week to bring to you several, no expense spared regular features.

'Jon's Raving Booze Round' is where I satisfy my obsession with liquor and play a song with an alcoholic flavour or theme. 'The Lounge' is our chance to recover from the 'Booze Round' by kicking back and relaxing to the sounds of something laidback and EASY.

A randomly picked 7" single gets a spin during 'The Vinyl Vault' and tripe such as William Shatner 'singing' or Arthur Mullard & Hilda Baker making a meal of the classic Grease hit 'You're the one that I want' kicks off during the appropriately named 'Songs in the key of Z'.

So that's basically what you can expect. Any requests, suggestions or comments, please get in touch!
