Taking Off With Spitfire - Showcasing Local Talent from the South Holland area

Based in the city of Mumbai in the western part of India, InRegalia is a band which plays Classic Rock with elements of Indian classical music.

Formed in 2012, InRegalia has been active on the Indian indie circuit playing at a number of venues in their home city and across the country. The band was founded by guitarist Vijay Fernandes. They were later joined by vocalist Peter Abraham, drummer Warren Swaries and Keith Pereira on keys and Saurav Das on bass.

The band‟s first single titled „Was it a Dream‟ was released in June 2014 followed by the release of their second single „Rock this House‟ in August the same year. A year later in December 2015, the band released its debut EP 'A New Horizon' which featured the earlier two tracks along with two new songs, 'Lalitha' and 'Stand Up'.

Vanilla Base

Taking Off With Spitfire - Showcasing Local Talent from the South Holland area

Since 2007, creating good music. Vanilla Base restart again this year to play their best songs and return to the stages. Julie ,Quique, Luis, Jesus, and Manolo form this pop rock band, willing to captivate the audience with a fusion of their different styles and their musical influences. Rhythms for dancing, lyrics to listen and a lot of energy, all this with a vanilla touch…

It was the end of summer 2007 when after many years together, the members of the group decided to regroup and begin to work after a break. A new vocalist and bass guitarist joined the already consolidated group which chose to recuperate some of their previous songs and leave out others, in addition to changing their name.

The Counteracts

Taking Off With Spitfire - Showcasing Local Talent from the South Holland area

The Counteracts from Kent, UK, are a collaboration between songwriters Simon J. Biscoe and Doug Smith. Simon first got into music whilst still at school, where he helped form The Contacts, and he has also played in a covers band, The Ghostriders. Simon now plays Bass, and enjoys writing songs on his own, and in collaboration with others.

Doug was a classically trained pianist as a child. Since 2010, he has been writing, recording and collaborating with various other musicians, contributing to Bands including GLAD, SilverSmith and The Contacts, as well as releasing his own music under the moniker Dag Smith.
